Tristan was involved in a number of 1D Stormwater modeling projects during his 7 year employment with MWH. These included several large model build and catchment management plans such as the Sg Damuan (Brunei) project spanning several years and resulting an estimated $50M (BD) of flood alleviation works.
Since leaving MWH he has been the senior modeller supporting the Resource Consent Application for the Hikurangi Swamp Flood Control Scheme. This project involved model calibration at 9 level points to over 12years of time varying data. Tristan was the technical specialist representing the council at the consent hearing – which successfully achieved resource consent.
Tristan is a strong communicator, and enjoys working in a group environment.
